Have you been longing for an exciting video in which an egg is fried on a salt block? Long for it no more! This is geeky, but since it takes 30 minutes for the salt block to come up to temp, I rigged an iPhone tripod using the handle of a milk-steaming pitcher, framed up the shot and fried up the egg. The surface temp of the block is about 330 degrees. That’s about it. I feel a wee bit silly...
